A day after receiving mixed reception in Nanyuki, Raila Odinga and his allies made their way to Karatina under tight security. He was in the company of among others leaders from the region who were quick to campaign for the former prime minister who is seeking to be elected as president of the Republic of Kenya.

From the video shared online, the crowds were excited about the visit with a majority of them pledging to campaign and support his bid as president. Raila took to the podium to speak urging the resident to continue supporting his bid and that he has so much in store for the region.
His motorcade was also blocked by the area resident who demanded to be addressed by the ODM leader who did not mince his words when he spoke. So far this is the first visit by the former prime minister in the region.
