Kenya Power and Lighting Company has dropped another crucial information concerning tomorrow's power interruptions. Report reveals that few places within the country will be affected by planned power interruptions as from 9am until 5pm. According to the report shared by Kenya Power through their official social media platforms parts of Kiambu County especially Ewaso Kedong', Najire Girls, Karima Girls Secondary school, Earth Station, Mai Mahiu, Parts of Mai Mahiu Kijabe, Kijabe Hospital, Kirenga, Escarpment, Mbauni, Ewasnarock Road, Longonot,IDP Camp, Msafiri, Ngere KPC pumping Station, Ngema SRC, Githirioni, Nyamueru, Uplands, Roromo water supply, Olive Farm, Mutosi, Murengeti, Canaan Dairies, Sun Dale Limited, Protocor, Upland Funeral Home, Manguo primary and secondary school, Bibirioni, Manguo pump, Gitimgo,Ngarariga, Kibarege, parts of Limuru, Kwa Mbaria, Kamirithu, Kamandura, Mutarakwa, Thigio, Ndioni, Kamangu, Auto Spring, Kiambu Water Company, Kiambu West School, Ngenia School, Kinale Girls School, Gathuariga Village, Kamae Forest, Stacey, Magina, S Centre, Maingi, Mukeu, Kiandutu shop, Kwa Edward, Kijabe Mission, Kirenga and adjacent customers will be affected by planned power interruptions.
Occasionally service interruption are necessary in order to allow KPLC crew to safely conduct maintenance or repair work. Kenya Power trys to schedule these repairs at the least inconvenient times for the customers and keep them minimum. Whenever possible Kenya Power provides prior notice before they interrupt service, hence the list of places that will be affected by power blackouts.
