Deputy President William Ruto has made a stopover at Kimana Town in Kajiado County where he was warmly received by the area resident. His stop overcoming only hours after he held a successful two-day meeting with Kamba leaders who vowed to support his bid in 2022 and campaign for him in the region.
Ruto’s visit coming only a few days after ODM leader Raila Odinga also toured the region and was received by the area governor Ole Lenku who confirmed that UDA is unwelcomed in the region and that he will be fully under Raila Odinga in 2022.
Ruto who addressed the crowd reiterated his commitment to fighting for the less privileged in the society saying that his number one task once he assumes office is to ensure that he lifts the livelihoods of the small traders in the county. Ruto was in the company of several leaders from the region.
