According to the 2023 school calendar provided by the Ministry of Education in Kenya, the first half-term break would be between the third and sixth of March this year. The holiday break for the first term in both primary and secondary schools would be between April 22 and May 7.
In the second term, the half-term break would be between the 29th day of June and the 2nd day of July this year. The holiday for the term would be between the twelfth and twenty-seventh of August, still this year. The second term has a total of thirteen weeks.
The third term break would be on the third day of November. The term has a total of ten weeks. All the pupils will break for the third term in order to pave the way for the national exams, which are done annually in Kenya by the grade eight and form four candidates.
