With political realignments continue taking shape ahead of 2022, it has been reported that Raila's Orange Democratic Movement party could lose vocal lawmaker Elsie Muhanda to either Ruto's United Democratic Alliance or Mudavadi's ANC.

The fear is that she might be favoured in the party nominations a move that will leave his political career hugely affected, she now wants to find a new home before it too late.

She is among the politicians from the counties of Kakamega and Vihiga who are scheming to join either UDA or ANC with majority arguing that ODM's nominations will not be free and fair. The party is already facing division with some supporting Kakamega deputy governor Philip Kutima to become the ODM chairman in the region while others support Justus Kizito the Shinyalu member of parliament.
