President Uhuru and his deputy president William Ruto do not see eye to eye after the initiation of handshake with former prime minister Raila Odinga.
This handshake aggravated to split in the ruling party Jubilee. The two groups emerged from Jubilee namely 'Tangatanga' which is allied to William Ruto and 'Kieleweke' which is associated to president Uhuru Kenyatta.
This splinter group have been brought stiff competition in previous by elections that have been held.
The recent one in Kiambaa Constituency by elections where UDA party won. This victory has led the president to convene an emergency meeting with My. Kenya leaders.
Kenyans. co.ke has confirmed that the president has directed the Mt.Kenya leaders to organize the meeting which he (president) is expected to chair.
The main agenda to the meeting is to discuss the growing influence of Deputy President in central region and some developmental projects which are facing them.
Also, the meeting will discuss coronation of speaker Justine Muturi as the Mt. Kenya Spokesman.
Do you see it is the right time for the president to hold this meeting with leaders from My. Kenya.
