"Referendum Is Inevitable" City Lawyer Says After Today's Theatrics In Senate, Alleges Date For It

The Building Bridges Initiative ( BBI) is currently at the Senate and Parliament where members are expected to debate it and give their take on the bill.

However, today's events at Senate shows how far the house is from making a sound decision on the Constitutional amendment bill 2020 as it was adjourned twice.

Lawyer Donald Kipkrorir has put it clear that the current theatrics exhibited by both houses will not deter the process and kenyans will go to the ballot to decide to vote for the bill before August 7.

The Lawyer says the referendum is inevitable and Senate and Parliament holds little influence on the process as Kenyans will have the final say.

The document is pushing for inclusivity and the Lawyer says the process will succeed and there nothing that can stop it from coming into reality as those opposing it are just wasting their time.

The MPs behaviour has been slammed by Kenyans who were angered with the legislators for earning without performing their roles at a time the country's economy is hurting.
