Lawyer Omari Breaks Silence About Droping Case Against Ichungwa, Says This

Popular Lawyer Danstan Omari has now come out to clearly to refute claims that he has dropped charges against the Majority Leader and Kikuyu Member of Parliament Hon. Kimani Ichungwa.

Speaking this morning through his social media pages, the majority leader Kimani Ichungwa stated this morning that he had never been issued with any information concerning the case but only saw it on the media.

The court has finally issued a notice to Kimani Ichungwa that he should appear before court within the next 15 days. The refuting of the claims comes just hours after the media issues a report that the Popular Lawyer has dropped the charges against the Popular Kikuyu Member of Parliament.

Kimani Ichungwa had stated in his morning tweet that he will not be intimidated by someone whose main aim is to seek public attention. The Lawyer had sued the Kikuyu MP early last month demanding a sum of Ksh. 11 Million in damages he termed as defamation by Ichungwa through a post on Twitter.

The Lawyer has now dismissed such claims and say that he has dropped the case as stated that the hearing is set for next month.
