Some were heard shouting at him calling him 'Baba' a name that he was nicknamed by his supporters in the country.This happened after Uhuru finished his inspection and promised to come back again with the former prime minister calling him his brother.
This was Raila's first public appearance since he contracted Corona virus which forced him to isolate at his own for some weeks.He tested negative for the virus yesterday.
Raila was reported to have visited the president at statehouse today in the morning after their alleged meeting yesterday which saw president Uhuru drive himself to his home at Karen.
Also,the former prime minister has called a meeting of ODM top leadership at his Karen residence to declare their commitment to the handshake which was said to have deteriorated in a way.
He said that their commitment to the handshake between him and president Uhuru Kenyatta was still intact and BBI referendum was inevitable contrary to what his close allies had said earlier on.
