A third-year lady student at Bomet University college stabbed a man identified as her boyfriend in his chest after he disclosed to her the heartbreaking news of ending their love relationship and every one of them to go their different ways immediately.
According to report given by Bomet Central Sub-county deputy police commander Mr Bashir Ali, the lady aged 21 years old had gone to visit her relationship boyfriend at Sewage residential area around the outskirts of Bomet town with one of her another female friend. The man identified, aged 25 years old who is also a third-year student at the same institution, broke the heartbreaking news of ending their affair.
The female allegedly got angry and irritated and took out a kitchen knife she was hiding in her panty and fiercely directed it at his chest, where he then lost consciousness and collapsed and felling immediately. The other lady she who was in company with, tried to stop her from doing more dangerous harm and decided to raise an alarm for aid, attracting the attention of other occupants in the area.
He was then rescued and immediately rushed to Tenwek heath facility while he had lost his consciousness. The suspect was taken in by the school security personnel and later taken to Bomet central police station for investigation and interrogation.
