An opposition-affiliated member of parliament is regretting his decision to break ranks with the party that enabled him to ascend to parliament. The lawmaker was recently forced to put down his ego as he sought means by which he would make peace with his party leader.

Details allege that the MP sent several emissaries to his party leader, asking for forgiveness. It has been revealed that the MP recently wanted to be allowed to attend a big social gathering, but he backed off at the last minute after realizing that he was unwelcome.
The MP allegedly waited for feedback from the party to attend the event, but he got no response and had to attend a low-key function in his constituency. The event was attended by the who's who in the region where the MP comes from, and it is reported that people from all walks of life attended the event.
