The kenyan head of state expected to address the nation about the death of the Tanzanian president John Pombe Magufuli. The two are long time friends although they have at times shared different opinions.
According to state house kenya post the president is expected to address a number of activities to mourn the just departed East African Hero. He expected to announce that all the kenyan flags to be raised halfway for the respect of Magufuli.
Kenya and Tanzania shares a good economic relationship despite kenya being the next door neighbor to Tanzania. Uhuru and Magufuli were involved in disagreements after Tanzania closed it's borders with Kenya stating that kenyans are bringing the virus to their country.
Magufuli died on Wednesday evening at the age of 61 years after struggling with a heart disease at Jakaya Kikwete Hospital. He was serving in his second term as the president of Kenya.
The Tanzanian vice president who now take the thrown announced 14 days for the country to mourn the departed hero.
