Embakasi East legislator Babu Owino has come out to issue fresh demands to the Higher Education Loans Board alias HELB.
Taking to his official Facebook account,the legislator has demanded that the board releases funds to University students.He revealed that the delay in releasing of the funds by the board is unnecessary."HELB must move with maximum speed and minimum delay and send money to the 327000 deserving comrades,"stated the legislator via the post.
The vocal legislator went on to state that this move will help in seeing numerous students achieve educational success.He warned that further delays in releasing the loans will see him order for mass action against the delay."We will soon stop singing and start swinging should they continue denying comrades this inherent right,"added Owino.
