Besides the heavy embarrassment he got from angry locals in Migori County who pelted some stones at him, Jimi Wanjigi was also denied some blessings on his bid by a preacher without any exchange of a huge amount of money.
Just from the video which has been shared online by Raila ally Peter Kaluma of Homabay Town constituency, the preacher who was brought to bless the 2022 presidential hopeful behind closed doors is heard refusing to do so for free or less amount of money.
"I want to remind you, any time a prophet wants to bless you there must be an offering. So you must bring money for me to bless you. Bring something, bring something. No this is Jimi Wanjigi, not one thousand," the preacher is heard saying.
As you can see from the video, you can see him being forced to adjust his offerings to get the blessings as demanded by the preacher.
