30 Members From Ruto's Camp in Panic Following the Latest Move by Government

Deputy President William Ruto seems to be a man under siege following the government's persistent move to frustrate him. The second in command has been having tough times with his boss since his announcement that he would be running for the top seat. His woes worsened even further after President Uhuru Kenyatta asked him to shelf his presidential campaigns and concentrate on delivering projects that they had promised the electorates during their campaigns. The DP despite numerous calls from Uhuru, continued with his campaigns forcing Uhuru to act.

Since then, things have never been easy for Ruto and the government has continued to frustrate his efforts ahead of 2022. Ruto's men in specific have found themselves on the receiving end with most being ousted from several positions that they used to hold.

Today, panic has engulfed Deputy President William Ruto's camp following a report by the Sunday Nation that the government is moving in to arrest over 30 members who are allegedly associated with the DP.

The latest revelation about the impending arrest of Ruto allied members has sparked a heated debate online, with some saying that the government is trying to intimidate leaders who have been against Uhuru's administration.

According to the publication, several leaders among them:

Former Kiambu governor Waititu, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Rashid Echesa, Rigathi Gachagua, Dennis Itumbi, Meru Senator Mithika Lithuli, Osca Sudi are some of the members who are on the ladder of Uhuru's administration.

The motive behind the planned arrest has not been clear but most are saying that it is because of their relationship with the DP.

Elsewhere, ODM leader while on tour in the coastal region has continued castigating corrupt leaders where he said that should he be elected president he's going to jail all leaders where he allegedly linked DP Ruto indirectly without mentioning his name.
