Private universities strategically located within Kenyan borders have received bad news after Kenyan President His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto announced that they will be barred from participating in the newly institutionalized Government scholarship program.
Speaking today, the 4rd of May 2023, at the altruistic and exemplary atmosphere of State House, strategically placed on the lips of Kenya's capital of Nairobi, Head of State Dr William Samoei Ruto announced that only public universities will benefit from the Government scholarship program.
According to the Head of State, His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto, students from private universities will only be eligible for loans and will be barred from government scholarships.
The Head of State went on to say that vulnerable students would receive full government scholarships, meaning their parents would not have to pay anything for their children's education.
