United Democratic Alliance (UDA) led by William Samoei Ruto is enjoying massive support from residence of Kiambu county. Kiambu is accepting this party more than their own Jubilee party. The latest opinion poll indicates that UDA will win all the parliamentary seats in Kiambu county expect four. UDA will therefore win many of them.
In Kiambaa Constituency, John Njuguna Wanjiku of UDA with 42.3% will beat Kariri Njama of independent,26.4% and Damaris Waiganjo of Jubilee, 20.2%. In Lari, Mburu Kahangara of UDA will beat incumbent Jonah Mburu of Jubilee and David Njuguna Kiburi as independent candidate. In Limuru, John Kiragu Chege of UDA is leading ahead of Peter Mwathi of Jubilee.
In Kikuyu, incumbent Kimani Ichung'wa of UDA is leading ahead of Stephen Kigathi and Owen Ndung'u. In Kabete, Githua Wamacukuru of UDA will also win. He is leading ahead of Mwalimu Njenga Mwethi and Charles Chege Gitau. In Ruiru, Simon King'ara of UDA is leading ahead of Esther Nyambura Gathogo of Jubilee. UDA also leads in Thika where Alice Ng'ang'a is ahead of David Gakuyo of Jubilee. In Juja, George Koimbori of UDA is leading ahead of Aloise Kinyanjui of Jubilee.
The only constituencies Jubilee is leading are Kiambu to be won by Jude Njomo who is ahead of Waithaka Machua of UDA, Githunguri to be won by Kago Wa Lydia who is ahead of Gathoni Wamuchomba of UDA and Gatundu North to be won by Anne Wanjiku Kibe of Jubilee who is ahead of Kigo Njenga of UDA.
In Gatundu South, Njinji Murigi as independent candidate is beating all of them. GG Kagombe of UDA and Joyce Ngugi of Jubilee are second and third place respectively.
In the top seats, the poll indicates the governor seat will be won by William Kabogo of Tujibebe Wakenya Party, the senator to be won by Machel Waikenda of Chama Cha Kazi Party and the women representative seat to be won by Mercy Nungari of Tujibebe Wakenya Party.
The poll is according to Mizani Africa group. UDA will win many of these seats as the poll shows.
