Orange Democratic Movement party chief Raila Odinga has today toured Embakasi East on a special invite from one of his top guns Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino. In the meeting, leaders have asked Raila and his crew to bring the Azimio La Umoja campaign to Embakasi after it's success in Nyeri county yesterday.
After his address during the meeting, Raila and his brigade have made stops to interact with the people of Embakasi. At Soweto, Raila's team has brought businesses to a standstill when youths demanded to be addressed.
The ODM chief has made a promise to the youths that the national youth services commonly known as kazi mtaani will be back as soon as possible to help youths fight the scores of widespread unemployment. In his promise to the youths, Raila has reiterated his promise of ksh 6000 monthly stipend to all unemployed youths if he will form the next government.
He has rubbished the leaders who have criticised the idea terming enemies of progress.
