Police officers from Embakasi police station have nabbed who allegedly tried to attack other cops while on duty.
The suspect identified as David Mkanda was found enjoying his drinks inside the drinking joint that was stormed by police officers on Thursday afternoon.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect attempted to snatch a firearm from his colleague during the raid.
According to reports, Mkanda is an undercover police officer attached in Nakuru County.
He was arrested and placed in cell. He was later transported to a local police station where he is currently being grilled and detained for further investigation.
Kenyans online who shared their views on the incident have expressed their concern on the number of increasing rogue police officers in Kenya.
Some have also urged the National Police Service to take action on such officers, adding they should be dismissed from the police force.
Investigations into the incident is currently underway.
