The family of Nakuru Doctor who killed his two children by allegedly injecting them with insulin has finally spoken.
His sister who spoke to Citizen TV at Nakuru county refferal hospital where she had gone to see him said that James Gakara was a humble person and the inhumane act came as a shock to them.
She added that during that week they met. Surprisingly, he was jovial and did not show any signs of stress or depression.
They are not aware of any underlying issues between him and his wife who was working away from home.
His wife has already been discharged from hospital where she was admitted after she collapsed upon getting the sad news of the death of her two kids aged 3 and 5.
KMDU has recommended counselling services among doctors. They say depression might be caused by fatigue causes by long working hours and stressful working conditions.
