Makueni Member of County Assembly Mbula Mutula has emerged with fresh allegations involving a rally Deputy President William Ruto held in Makueni County on Tuesday, September 21.
According to Mbula, people who attended the rally were promised Ksh1000 to attend the event and cheer the DP.
She, however, claims that several people were left stranded in Emali Town after being ferried from different places to attended the DP's function.
MCA Mbula adds that pictures of those who attended the function do not reflect the situation on the ground given that people were paid to attend the function.
"Siasa ya hustler fake ni ngumu sana. They ferried people from different places promising them a 1000/= and now our people are stranded in Emali town. What you see on their Facebook pages is not what is on the ground. Wanapanga kupanga crowds kama cabbage," she said.
The DP's function was attended by several people who were seen cheering him on.
The rally came a day after the DP met with Kamba leaders on Sunday in Amboseli.
