Why Raila Might Not Get Support From Youths Despite Meeting Them Regularly

Former prime minister Raila Odinga might currently be the most favourite 2022 presidential candidate in Kenya based on his recent popularity across the country.

On Tuesday he was at the University of Nairobi where he met with a number of youths and their leaders, promising alot of goodies for them incase they support his presidential bid and ambition come 2022.

After meeting several political bigwigs in the mountain region,he seems to have shifted his focus on drawing support from the youths who comprise of the largest number of voters during the much awaited polls next year.

However,the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader and his entire camp might have been dealt a huge blow following his earlier appointment he made to represent the youths in East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).

This is because Raila is on account having appointed his elder brother Oburu Odinga who is advanced in age as youth's representative in EALA,a thing that is very fresh in their minds right now despite his promises to them when voted in as the president.

Below are some of the reactions following today's meeting with the youths at the University of Nairobi;
