President Ruto Apologized to Miguna For The mistreatment Inflicted to Him by The Previous Regime

Lawyer Miguna Miguna has come out to inform the people that President William Ruto today publicly apologized to him for the atrocities committed by the former regime during his forced exile in Canada.

The outspoken lawyer, in a tweet, said the Head of State apologized today January 14 2023 while on two days of business and development in Kisumu in the wider Nyanza region. Miguna Miguna accepted the apology from His Excellency President Ruto.

The tweet has received several reactions including one from former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe

"The President of the Republic of Kenya and the Chief of the Defense Forces, H.E. William Ruto, has now apologized on behalf of himself and the government for the brutality inflicted on me by the previous regime. I am sorry," Miguna said.

On March 26, 2018, Miguna attempted to return to Kenya after being deported. He arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi on a flight from Dubai, and when he sought permission to comply with several court orders, Uhuru Kenyatta regime officials refused to allow him to enter the country.
