Details Emerge About What Musalia, Wetangula Are Set To Lose If They Accept This Plan By Ruto, Gacha

Details have emerged about what Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly Deputy Moses Wetangula, who are among the top principals in Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition government are set to lose if they accept a plan the President William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua, of folding the afflicted parties within the coalition to form one strong party which is United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

According to a report by Nation Newspaper today, Musalia and Wetangula who are the Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader and Ford Kenya Party leader respectively, are set to lose their bargaining power at the national level. They will no longer have the power to bargain on national matters like they did with Ruto in the last general elections. Accepting to fold their political parties to join UDA will also undermine and frustrate political competition at the grassroots.

Therefore it is better for Musalia, Wetangula and other party leaders in Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition to reject the idea of Ruto and Rigathi to fold their political outfits to join UDA. Since it may end in a similar fall-out like the one of former President Uhuru Kenyatta and current President William Ruto in Jubilee Party.
