Deputy president William Ruto has differed with his allies who are planning to summon government and civil servants for downgrading his securty and withdrawing five drivers working in his office.
Taking to his social media pages this morning, Dr William Ruto said that the move is a waste of time since Administration Police are also professional security officers and those who think that replacement of his security is down grade are wrong.
He urged members of parliament to concentrate on deployment to serious securty situations in areas where bandits are causing mayhem and destruction."Parliamentary time should not be wasted on non-issues. The Administration Police is a professional securty service and those who think it's a down grade are wrong," said Hon William Ruto. There were report that Interior Cabinet secretary Hon Fred Matiangi is likely to be summoned by parliament to explain why he replaced Ruto's security without consulting deputy president.
