Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the premier League to 8 points, following their 2-0 win against their neighbours, Tottenham at Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Arsenal completed a home and away win against them in this interesting London derby. An own goal from Hugo Lloris in the 14th minute gave Arsenal the lead as he fumbled Bukayo Saka's strike from a tight angle over the line.
Martin Odegaard doubled Arsenal's advantage in the 36th minute with crisp strike from distance, notching his 8th league goal of the season. From this Odegaard goal, it now meant that no other Premier League midfielder has more goals than him this season.
The Norwegian international once more proved to the world why he is the best attacking midfielder in the Premier League at the moment. The 24 year old star has been on great form which has been vital to Arsenal's success this term.
He is showing a master class performance in each game and it is therefore worth to put him up in the list of the best midfielders this season. He is lethal with the ball, he is good in passing and his attacking spirit is something enjoying. He is leading Arsenal by example. What a season he's having.
