Deputy president William Ruto has today taken the wave of the Hustler Nation movement to former prime minister Raila Odinga's backyard in Migori County. Accompanied with his top allies including the Migori County chief Okoth Obado, the DP campaigned for his bottom up economic model and the importance of reviving the economy at the expense of changing the constitution through the Building Bridges Initiative.
However, Junet Mohammed, a Raila Odinga diehard has mocked the Tangatanga side saying they have enjoyed the peace in Migori courtesy of the handshake between president Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga that brought peace and unity in the country. According to Junet, the DP Ruto rally could have been disrupted by rowdy Migori youths if the handshake was not there. Junet has praised the people of Migori and reminded the Tangatanga brigade to always thank the spirit of the handshake for allowing them the peace.
DP Ruto and brigade including Mps Ndindi Nyoro, Kimani Ichung'wah, Silvanus Osoro and others however restricted themselves to preaching national unity and the calls of a national party that will bring Kenyans together.
