Babu Owino Starts Taekwondo Training Ahead of Raila's Mass Action in Seven Days

Azimio leader Raila Odinga gave William Ruto's administration 14 days to lower the cost of living or else he leads Kenyans to protest against his administration. Raila Odinga and other leaders from the Azimio camp has been blaming the Ruto regime for not doing anything to cushion Kenyans from the hard economic times.

In specific, the poked holes in Ruto's move to remove subsidies that were implemented by his predecessor to cushion Kenyans. Following those moves to scrap all the subsidies, life has become unbearable for most Kenyans who are now struggling to make ends meet.

With now seven days for the lapse of Raila's threat to call for mass action, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has already started to prepare for the big day ahead of Raila calls them to action. In the latest move that has left Kenyans exited, Hon Babu Owino was seen sharpening his Taekwondo skills during a training session as preparations to hit the streets.

The two term MP has been one of the most loyal leaders to Raila Odinga and he has been seen with him in most of the rallies that have been organized and attended by the Azimio leader.

Even as Babu prepares himself for the serious job ahead, Nairobi County senator Hon Edwin Sifuna has asked the Ruto regime to return the subsidies. According to the senator, Kenyans were better off with the subsidies and despite the allegations by Ruto's administration that it only benefited cartels, at least Kenyans were able to buy food at an affordable prices than it is currently.

"Kenyans don't care that the subsidies were benefiting a cartel, what they know they were able to buy unga at a certain price but as of now, they are unable because the prices have gone high. Please bring the subsidies back." Senator Edwin Sifuna.
