Homabay governor Gladys Wanga yesterday accompanied former prime minister Raila Odinga to the burial ceremony of Luo council of elders chairman Willis Otondi and while there he castigated Kenya Kwanza's government.

Speaking as relayed by a report covered by the publication done on Sunday's standard, Wanga claimed that Ruto's camp cannot purport to have the power to direct kenyans anywhere.

According to Wanga, Luo Nyanza should rally behind the former premier since during his time in Grand coalition government, the region got developments.

" When Raila Odinga was in the Grand coalition government we saw many developments milestone, the same also happened when Raila was in handshake government with president uhuru Kenyatta", she said.

" Those others cannot purport to have the power to direct us anywhere", Wanga who is allied to ODM added.

Wanga's bold sentiment on Ruto's government was echoed by jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni who claimed that Ruto is always fighting to widen the gap between Kikuyus and luos.

It is evident that Wanga is against Ruto's government despite the fact that she has always been close to him.

Leaders present were former premier Raila Odinga, Kisumu governor Anyang Nyong'o, Siaya governor James Orengo, George Wajackoyah, Ugunja member of parliament Hon Opiyo Wandayi, Otiende Omollo and others.
