Like what the political pundits say,the game of numbers in the 2022 general elections, will decide who will become Kenya's fifth President after Uhuru Kenyatta.
Many however, believe that the presidential race will be between Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto, whom both enjoys massive support across the country.
And now Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has leaked some of the new registered voters that have been entered into the voter registration register.
The reports published in local daily shows that the regions which are DP Ruto's strongholds or which DP Ruto is gaining popularity, has registered the highest number of voters so far.
Rift Valley region, which is DP Ruto's turf, has an increase of 2,798,485 votes from those of 2017, making it to a total of 7,448,263 voters.
Eastern Kenya, which DP Ruto has been gaining popularity recently,is second with an increase of 1.4 million new voters.
Western region follows with an increase of 958,569 new voters followed by Nyanza with an increase of 953,008 new voters.
Coast region follows with an increase of 898,071 new voters, while Nairobi county, has 809,583 new voters.North Eastern came last with an increase of 568,413 new voters.
This is good news to DP Ruto as Rift Valley region has had more new voters,as well as Mount Kenya, Eastern, North Eastern and Coast regions where he has won the hearts of some few vocal leaders.
