Interior CS Kindiki has stated that the government will continue to maintain a permanent presence of security personnel even after the successful conclusion of the ongoing security operation in bandit-prone counties. This action is thought to be required in order to keep the peace and stop additional unrest in the region.
The government is going to do everything in its power to make sure that we deal with these suspects. Bandits can’t keep keeping our children out of school. This is something that we will not allow, people who are killing police officers, and innocent citizens have no place in our society ~Ruto.

It has been revealed that, the residents from Nolkera, Samburu county decided to flee due to high tension that has been witnessed. They have also Revealed that, bandits may attack them anytime.
The people from this places have has cattle rustling since time in memorial, they stole from each other to claim community muscles and power,for dowry payments, for some cultural rites, for example, for a young boy to become a community warrior had bring some cattle home. This though was strictly in adherence not to harm women and children.
