Several top clubs are no doubt set to battle it out for Bayern Munich center back David Alaba with the star defender announcing that he is set to leave the Bundesliga giants at the end of the current season.
David Alaba joined Bayern Munich back in 2008 in the youth set up after a successful spell with FK Austria Wien and has since been a huge hit at the Allianz Arena with him now considered as one of the best center-backs in the world of football if not the best.
In his 13-year stay with the Bundesliga champions, the world class defender won two Champions League trophies, two club world cups, two UEFA Super Cups, nine Bundesliga trophies, six DFL Pokal and five DFL super cups hence, showing a successful spell with the club.
Meanwhile, according to multiple reports, the 28 year old is eyeing a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid with verbal agreement believed to have already been reached though it is understood Premier League side Chelsea are trying to convince him to consider Stamford Bridge transfer. Other clubs said to be in the race include Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
