Manchester United stunning comeback against West ham

United had welcomed Westham at old Trafford in the F.A eighth round on Wednesday night with tired legs after a clash with Barcelona and a carabao cup final unto which united won.

Westham had a best chance in the first half to go into the lead when Antonio was left one on one with De gea but failed to score.

But Westham goal threat was brought to success in the second half when Said Benrahma curved a nice short to the left side of De Gea putting the visitors in front.

But Ten hag immediately reacted by making substitutions. Martinez, Rashford and Fred were brought in to try and save a game on which united were about to be eliminated.

The substitutions happened to bare fruits in the ninetieth minute when Alejandro Garnacho made a perfect curving to the left of Westham's goalkeeper Aroela, a goal that was similar to that of Benrahma making it 2-1.

It was a perfect comeback since Everton had scored an own goal in the seventy seventh minute through Aguerd making it 1-1.

That was not it. Manchester united made last minute effort through Fred after receiving a pass in the West ham penalty area from Weghorst, who had taken the ball away from West ham defender, making it 3-1.

United qualify to the quarter finals where they will face premier league seventh place fulham for the second time this season.

The red devils are set to face liverpool this Sunday as they try to keep pace in the run for premier league title this season.
