After tbe match, Mohammed Salah went into Harambee stars dressing room to congratulate them on the impressive match wishing them a good luck in their next African Cup Of Nation qualifications. This was after a 1-1 draw with the Egyptians.
Kenya was knocked out of the qualifications as Egypt and Comoros managed to qualify from group G. This now means that Kenya will not have a chance to participate in the upcoming afcon tournament in 2022.
"I want to say thank you for hosting us. We played a good match bt unfortunately you did not qualify. It was great playing against you.,you will be lucky next time." Salah said.
Nick Mwendwa, the president of Football of K3nya Federation also appreciated Salah and praised him as a football elite and African ambassador. Kenya has four points with only one game more match to play against Togo. Egypt ans Comoros top the group's table.
