Raila Amollo Odinga's worries have continued piling up two days after being terminated from international duties as an AU special envoy on matters of Infrastructure Development in Africa. This comes after President William Samoei Ruto's administration wrote to the United States of America and other Western countries requesting them to impose sanctions on Raila Odinga.
Kenya Kwanza government have asked the European countries to ban the former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga from travelling abroad due to his endless call for mass actions within the country. This comes even after African Union Commission slapped Odinga with a special termination letter from his previous role as the AUC High Representative for Infrastructure Development in Africa.
However, Mr. Odinga has maintained his stand on anti-Ruto rallies. Odinga told off the Kenya Kwanza government that he will not be intimidated by anyone. Immediately after being terminated, the Azimio Chief held successful anti-Ruto rallies in Vihiga County, Western region.
Do you think Ruto's request to have Raila sanctioned will be accepted? Kindly share widely, leave a comment and follow my profile for more updates.
