Cherera 4 has received terrible news as a result of what second in command deputy president Rigathi Gachagua told Raila Odinga about his desire to reinstate four resigned IEBC commissioners. Raila Odinga has demanded that Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyang'aya, Francis Wanderi, and Irene Masit be reinstated in the IEBC because they made no mistakes that forced them to resign.
Raila Odinga was advised by DP Rigathi Gachagua that the president has no power to reinstate Cherera 4 and that he (Raila Odinga) should cease pressing the issue with President William Ruto. President William Ruto, on the other hand, criticized Raila Odinga over the ongoing protests.
President Ruto advised Raila Odinga that he should quit inciting followers to violence, as evidenced in recent demonstrations. Raila Odinga has been told to forget the things he wants because they are impossible to achieve.
