Police officers from Umoja are currently investigating an incident that happened today in the morning after the lifeless body of a man is reported to have been found in his house under unclear circumstances.
In a report that has been shared by the directorate of criminal investigations, it has been revealed that the deceased who has been identified as Brian had allegedly argued with his wife who threatened to leave him.
Reports have revealed that the deceased who was a resident of Umoja around Deliverance church pleaded with his wife not to leave him. However, his plea didn't help after he allegedly came home from work to find out that his wife had left.
The deceased would later send or rather text his wife who had already arrived at her mother's place in Dandora saying 'Nmekuachia Dunia' as swahili word which is directly translated to I've left the world for you before switching his phone off.
Filled with anxiety and emotions, the woman allegedly tried to call the deceased countless times after which she decided to go and look for the deceased in his house. Unluckily, the body of the deceased was found dead in his bed.
This is happening at the same time when the government has revealed that the rate of suicide and murder which are related to relationships have been on the rise in the past few months. According to the reports given by the DCIs, they revealed that Kiambu took the first position in all the counties leading with the highest number of suicide rates.
At the same time, a number of nonprofit organizations related to relationships have called upon couples to visit relationship experts in order for them to know how to deal with this kind of situations.
