Speaking during interview at citizen tv with Jeff Koinange, professor PLO Lumumba stated that it is necessary for both president William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga to meet and have a talk.
''I believe in dialog and both leaders should meet and chat ways forward. As they do say they both have love for this country then it is the high time we see that through their action.'' Lumumba stated.
The law maker wrote a letter comprising five pages to both leaders a head of grand demonstration organised by the opposition leaders to the state house stating that the current government is illegitimate.
''If the opposition is calling this government illegitimate and whatever we saw in Kisumu they are calling it a rehearsal for 20th this month, then let us be prepared for blood shed. Before things get worse let the leaders meet and chat their ways forward because these are people who have been together and I believe they can work things out.'' Lumumba added.
The opposition leader Raila Odinga called upon his supporters come out on 20th March to have peaceful demonstrations towards the state house challenging the government on the high cost of living.
