Kabogo Denies Conceding Defeat for Jubilee Party in Juja

Kiambu Politician William Kabogo has termed his alleged concession about Jubilee Party loss in Juja Constituency by-election as fake news.

According to a tweet seen by Opera News, Kabogo noted that the circulating post about him having conceded defeat on behalf of the Jubilee Party was pure propaganda from those who want to set him against the State.

“To Hon Susan Waititu, we mounted a spirited fight but the people of Juja decided otherwise. I urge you to unite with Hon George Koimburi to pursue the interests of the people of Juja in honor of your late husband Francis Waititu who is the former Juja MP,” the faulty tweet linked to Kabogo said.

But the former Kiambu County Governor quickly described the post as malicious and which should be ignored by his supporters.

"Mtachoka lini na huu ufala?" he reacted to the post.

Juja Constituency seat, according to IEBC results, was won by the People’s Empowerment Party PEP candidate George Koimburi. George, a frined to Moses Kuria, trounced Jubilee Party candidate Susan Waititu who had full backing from the State.
