Manchester United hosted Southampton at Old Trafford in a Block buster Premier League tie, where Erik Ten Hag as weak midfield comprising of indiscipline Casemiro, overrated Fernandes and Flop Sancho. Man United were indiscipline as Lisandro Martinez received a yellow card in the 10th minute for dangerous play while Casemiro was shown a red card in the 34th minute to reduce the Red Devils to 10 men. Erick Ten Hag brought on Scott McTominay as substitute for Weghorst in the 44th minute as they held on to seal.a goalless draw at halftime.
Man United fans are growinh concern over Anthony Taylor and VAR decisions as he has now showed Casemiro 2 red cards in a span of 2 months after consulting the VAR (against Crystal Palace & Southampton).
