According to Mary Kinuthia, she opted to go an extra mile in hustle by multitasking in order to make ends meet. Mary says that she comes from a humble background in a family of eight, where her parents couldn't raise her University fee as well as the money for her upkeep .
This forced her to look for a job where she landed in a security firm during the Corona period. She added that after the school resumed, she couldn't leave her only source of income. So. She decided to shift to night duties so that during the day,she is in class and at night she is working.
She says that this has atleast help her cater her needs despite the many challenges she goes through. She says that some times she is forced to wash people's clothes during the day when she is not in classes just to sustain herself. She cites that the biggest challenge she faces is time constraints. Some times she is forced to study while on night duty at the gate using her mobile phone.
During the day she may get few resting hours though not enough but she is forced to adjust to that life. She even says she doesn't have social life. Mary is now on 4th years of study looking forward to completing her study early next year. The wonderful lady says that she does this things knowing that it's just for some time and her she is very optimistic her future will be bright.
This has touched so many Kenyans who has congratulated her bold and courageous character she has Exhibited. Some has promised to offer her little Support.
