Kenya is now remaining with less than a year for it to go for a general election as per the law. This election is expected to be conducted on August next year. During these polls, the people of Kenya will get a chance to elect their new president who will succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta whose tenure in office will end come 2022. As we talk, many politicians in the country have expressed their interest in running for this seat.
Dr William Ruto, the current deputy president of Kenya is among these politicians who are eyeing to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta. Ruto is very hopeful that he will occupy the statehouse come next year. For Dp Ruto's dreams to come true, he must choose a very powerful, qualified and famous running mate who might give him a huge win over the deep state who have been his main political enemy. Now, let's look at this opinion on Dp Ruto's 2022 running mate who might give him a win over the deep state.
According to me, hon Ann Waiguru, the current governor of Kirinyaga county will be the best person to deputize Dr William Ruto. Waiguru is known to be a vet famous person in Mount Kenya and due to this, she is capable to rally in all the people of Mount Kenya behind Dp Ruto. Secondly, Waiguru is known to be an influential person among the Women in the country and thus she is able to convince majority of the women to vote for Ruto if given a chance to be Dp Ruto's running mate.
