A day after Ofafa Jericho High School was closed for the next three days after a fire incident, another school is on it with the same situation. Sigalame High School in Funyula, Busia has been closed indefinitely after the fourth fire incident after reopening this term. The fire razed the dormitories on Monday night.
Samia sub-county Director of Education Dominic Opee haa ordered students to remain home till investigations are concluded. Police have however restored order after the students chased and injured school guards.
