Kenya Meteorological Department has dropped another crucial message to all Kenyans concerning weather forecast for the next five days from tomorrow. According to the report shared by KMD through their official social media platforms, very few places are expected to receive rains in the next five days. However, several of the country are likely to receive sunny and dry conditions. North Eastern parts of the country especially Marsabit, Wajir, Garissa and Isiolo counties are expected to receive sunny intervals during the day and nights are expected to be clear. Maximum temperatures are likely to between 27 degrees Celsius and 38 degrees. Minimum temperatures are also expected to range between 15 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius.
Therefore the South Eastern Lowlands especially Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado and Taita Taveta counties are also expected to receive sunny and dry conditions as from tomorrow until Monday next week.
Moreover the coastal parts of the country have also been mentioned. Occasional showers may occur over few places during afternoon and sometimes during the morning hours. Members of the public especially those who will outdoors urged to carry their umbrellas during this season.
Detailed regional weather forecast period indicates that the Highlands West of Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Central and South Rift Valley including Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, Kericho, Nakuru, Bometi, Kakamega, Vihiga and Uasin Gishu are expected to receive rains as from tomorrow.
Morning are likely to sunny intervals with occasional rainfall towards the end of the forecast period. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected over several parts of the mentioned counties. Members of the public urged to prepare adequately before that time comes.
Therefore the Highlands East of Rift Valley including Nairobi, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Murang'a, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru, Tharaka Nithi and Nairobi Counties are expected to receive rains over few places as from tomorrow afternoon. Days are likely to be sunny and nights are expected to be partly cloudy. However occasional afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected over several parts of the above mentioned counties.
Finally maximum temperatures are likely to be between 21 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures are likely to be generally low.
