Following today's hearing and ruling that was made by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Hague regarding the Somalia-Kenya Maritime Border, everyone is uncertain of what next between Somalia's president Mohammed Abdullahi Farmajo and Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta.
The already frosty relations between Kenya and Somalia might be headed for worse times, after the ICJ allowed Somalia's claim over territories in the Indian ocean previously under Kenyan control.
This is because Kenya under the leadership of Uhuru had already distanced themselves from the ruling saying that whatever is decided doesn't involve and affect them in any way.
This shows the already broken ties between the two countries might go from worse to worst as they try to manually own the border which has brought enemity amongst them.
For a fact, following the ruling Somalia will have the guts to forcefully claim the border while Kenya forcefully tries to maintain it.
