Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said they were handed a poor economy by former president Uhuru Kenyatta. The second-in-command said they needed patience and it would take them time to sort out the economy and improve the economy. Gachagua warned Raila Odinga against threatening the government, adding that they would not be pushovers compared to the previous government.

Rigathi Gachagua has made it clear that they will not allow Raila Amolo Odinga to disrupt the government from achieving its agendas. He gave Raila Odinga a warning to have a peaceful demonstration and failure to adhere to that they will face strict measures. Kenyans are eagerly waiting to know if Raila Amolo Odinga will call off the demonstrations after government gives him a warning.
