Teaching is one of the best professions that most of the students may at times view as stepping stone, a point which is actually contrary to the real profession.
Today the worldwide celebration was on the teachers as they receive the celebrations and for Kenyan teachers had it all as the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) joined the celebrations and honoured 31 teachers from across the country as it marks this year’s World Teachers’ Day.
Speaking during the celebrations in Nairobi, TSC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nancy Macharia said the 31 teachers had consistently demonstrated exemplary performance in teaching, management and effective delivery of the curriculum for quality education.
Dr Macharia added that the commission is set to ensure that all the tutors who will show their efforts I'm the teaching activities will be highly recognized.
