Gatundu South MP Moses Kenya threw Kenyans into late-night debates after his post on social media.
A few minutes to 1:00 am, Kuria took to Facebook and made a post about 2022, particularly how Mt Kenya is allegedly going to vote.
The vocal lawmaker opined that 2022 will be the first time to see voters from Mt Kenya vote for a presidential candidate who is not from the region.
However, Kuria did not reveal the said person set to get the Mt Kenya votes.
Kuria said Mt Kenya will be voting for a presidential candidate who comes from different region
"For the first time in 30 years- since the advent of multiparty democracy- and contrary to popular belief, Mt Kenya voters will vote for a President who is not from their region.
They deserve a medal for that. But they have in equal terms stated, for very historical and security reasons, that they will do so while belonging to a political party of their own. Let anyone who courts their support respect that wish," he said.
His post made Kenyans to flock at the comment section with the following reactions:
