Mathira Member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua has now said that it's indeed sad that President Uhuru Kenyatta and the ODM Party Leader Hon Raila Odinga are pretending to be preaching peace and unity in the Mt Kenya region ahead of the upcoming 2022 general election, while some celebrated political leaders such as Imenti North Member of Parliament Hon Maoka Maore have been thrown out of the Azimio Leadership.
Speaking during his Meru Visit on Wednesday, the Kenya Kwanza Presidential Running Mate has openly and publicly expressed willingness to work with the Celebrated MP saying in Kenya Kwanza they will respect the reputation of everyone adding that he will be respected no matter what.Deputy President William Ruto, His 2022 Running Mate Hon Rigathi Gachagua received a rapturous welcome in Nyeri a few days ago
"Nimeskia Rafiki Yangu Maoka Maore Wamemtoa Kwa Viongozi wa Campaigns ya Azimio. Tunataka Kukwambia Wewe Mzee Wa Kitendawili ya Kwamba hatutaruhusu ufinyilie wana mlima Kenya.... I want to categorically tell my friend Maore that he should feel free to join the winning team, we shall respect him..." Gachagua addressed locals in Kikuyu, Kiswahili languages.
But Gachagua's attempts to win Maore to Kenya Kwanza comes barely hours after the standard media reported that the MP had admitted that Selling Raila in the Mt Kenya region has been complicated by the deployment of some Government officials such as Peter Munya who want to run the show alone.
"I'm worried he botched the coordination of political affairs and message. According to the president's approach to politics, he has a tremendous disaster on his hands," Maore Said.
