Deputy President William Ruto is a happy leader as things were looking up for him this week politically. The politicians that he has been campaigning for became victors in the by-elections that took place on Tuesday 18 May 2021.
In Ruri Ward, Francis Githaga from the UDA party became a victor against his opponent from the Jubilee party Peter Thunji. During campaigns, DP Ruto had urged the Ruri residents to vote for Francis Githaga mentioning him as a hustler who knows that work is work.
Through his Twitter handle, Ruto congratulated all the candidates in that election saying that they portrayed the zeal of the hustler's nation.
As usual, DP Ruto turned to God and said that all that happened is because of him.
Ruto also had another celebration early when the high court termed the BBI and its process as against the law. In a decision that was made by the high court judges Joel Ngugi, George Odunga, Jairus Ngaah, Chacha Mwita and Teresia Matheka on Thursday, May 13, announced the BBI process as against the law.
Ruto immediately told his followers that that was a sign of love from God.
"There is God in heaven who loves Kenyans immeasurably may God's name be praised forever," said Ruto in his message on Twitter
